Here's What We Have Planned for Summer 2016!

Baby Break: 
  • For babies ages 6-36 months and their parents and caregivers.
  • Special programs for our littlest patrons.  Activities include story times music program, dance party and come & play time.
  • Thursday mornings at 10:30.  Begins June 30th.
  • No registration is required for these programs.
Family Stories and Crafts:
  • For children ages 3- 6.
  • A weekly program of stories, songs, rhymes and a related craft.
  • Wednesday mornings at 10:30.  Begins June 29th.
  • Registration is required for these programs.  Register in person at the library or call 924-2637.  (Registration is held one week at a time.)
 Time Out Tuesdays:
  • For kids going into grades 1-3.
  • Be prepared to be active this summer.  We'll be moving, creating, exploring and playing this summer  Activities include guest presenters, games, craft days and more.
  • Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 to 2:00. Begins June 28th.
  • Registration is required for these programs.  Register in person at the library or call 924-2637.  (Registration is held one week at a time.)
Thursday Tween Time:
  • For kids going into grades 4-6.
  • Join Miss Jenny in exploring the weekly themes while having fun with crafts, games, activities and reading.
  •  Thursday afternoons from 2:00 to 3:00.  Begins June 30th.
  • Registration is required for these programs.  Register in person at the library or call 924-2637.  (Registration is held one week at a time.)
Teen Activities:
  • Battle of the BooksStop in the Teen Room each week this summer vote for your choice between that week's two battling booksEach week's winner will then advance to the next round.  See if your favorite book turns out to be the big winner.
  • Where in Victor???:  While you're in the Teen Room see if you can identify the location in Victor of that week's mystery picture.  Each week one winner from the correct entries will receive a prize.
  • Make & Take Crafts:  Also make sure to check out the weekly Teen Craft.  All the supplies to make it will be available in the Teen Room.  Take a few minutes and make it at the library or take the supplies with you to make it at home.
Pajama Story Time with Miss Jenny
  •  A family story time program for all ages
  • 4 Tuesdays this summer: June 28th, July 12th, 26th and Aug. 9th from 6:30 to 7:00. 
  • No registration is required for these programs. 
Paws for Reading:
  • For newly independent and reluctant readers.
  • Team up with certified therapy dogs for some shared reading time.
  • Days and times vary each week, so check the "Paws for Reading" sign-up sheets at the library to register.
